N Queens puzzle / Ν ΒΑΣΙΛΙΣΣΕΣ

The n queens puzzle is the problem of  placing n chess queens on an nxn chessboard so that no two queens threaten each other. Thus, a solution requires that no two queens share the same row, column, or diagonal.



Το παζλ Ν είναι το πρόβλημα της τοποθέτησης Ν βασιλισσών σε μια ΝxN σκακιέρα, έτσι ώστε να μην απειλούνται μεταξύ τους οι βασίλισσες. Έτσι, μια λύση απαιτεί ότι δεν υπάρχουν δύο βασίλισσες που μοιράζονται την ίδια σειρά, στήλη ή διαγώνιο.
