Pentago / The mind twisting game

Το Pentago είναι ένα διασκεδαστικό παιχνίδι στρατηγικής. Εφευρέθηκε από τον Σουηδό Tomas Floden.
Σκοπός του παιχνιδιού είναι να δημιουργηθεί πεντάδα σε μια σειρά με βόλους του χρώματος σας οπουδήποτε στο ταμπλό. Το ταμπλό αποτελείται από τέσσερα τετράγωνα μπλοκ. Μέρος της κίνησης είναι και η περιστροφή ενός από των τεσσάρων μπλοκ του ταμπλό. 

Pentago is a fun strategy game. The inventor of the game was the Swede Tomas Floden. The aim of the game is to create five in a row with your color anywhere on the board. The game board consists of the four separate boards. You have to twist one of the four game boards as part of your move.

ΚΑΝΟΝΕΣ/ RULES

The game starts with an empty game board. / Το παιχνίδι ξεκινά με κενό ταμπλό.

Ο πρώτος παίκτης τοποθετεί ένα βόλο σε μια κενή θέση και μετά την τοποθέτηση πρέπει να περιστρέψει ένα από τα 4 μπλόκ κατά 90 μοίρες δεξιόστροφα ή αριστερόστροφα.

Ο δεύτερος παίκτης κάνει το ίδιο και ούτω καθεξής.

Νικητής είναι ο παίκτης που θα τοποθετήσει πρώτος σε μια σειρά 5 βόλους, ειτε οριζόντια, είτε κάθετα, είτε διαγώνια.

Άν ο παίκτης μετά την τοποθέτηση σχηματίσει πεντάδα, τότε δεν χρειάζεται περιστροφή.

Άν όλες οι θέσεις συμπληρωθούν χωρίς σχηματισμό πεντάδας τότε το παιχνίδι είναι ισόπαλο. Επίσης ισοπαλία είναι αν και οι δυο παίκτες μετά από περιστροφή συμπληρώσουν πεντάδα.

The starting player places a marble in a socket of his choice. After the player turns any one of the four boards one notch (90 degrees) clock or counter clockwise. A board, not necessarily the one on which the marble has been placed, must be turned each move. 

Then the second player does the same. So on and so forth.

The first player to give five marbles in a horizontal,vertical or diagonal row wins!

If a player gets five in a row when placing a marble, he does not need to turn a board.

If all the sockets have been filled without any player getting five in a row, the game is a draw. If both players get five in a row as a player turns a board the game is also a draw.
